March - Juice of the Month

As spring starts to peak out from behind winter’s curtain, I wanted to highlight a juice that is bright, refreshing, and a bit sassy. The Fresh & Spicy was a lab creation after finding a few juicing recipes using arugula - not one that I would even think about including in a juice. Built on solid basics like apple and celery, the peppery flavor, combined with the boldness of the ginger, make me more alert after the first sip. More please!

FRESH & SPICY

RECIPE

2 cups arugula, 2 celery stalks, 2 apples, and 2” ginger root

BENEFITS

Arugula: Calcium, potassium, and folate (antioxidant)

Ginger: Powerful medicinal properties, anti-inflammatory, pain and nausea reliever

Celery: High in vitamins A, C, and K. Low on the glycemic index

Welcome to Chromatic Juice!

I’m super excited to create a spot where I can share what I know, what I research, and what I completely bomb at when it comes to anything health and wellness. This site will give ideas for juicing, nutrition, simple healing remedies, and more. My favorite part is sharing what I call my Sweet Sixteen, practices that lead to health and happiness. Incorporating the Sweet 16 every day helps keep me at my best and I feel more ready to handle the daily challenges of being a working mom of three. I’m not perfect though! My friends know how much I love my rose. And I’ve been known to destroy a bag of Doritos late night. But hey, it’s all about balance and happiness at the end of the day.
